Hello! Today I'm sharing with you a trend that already existed in the Summer but is moving to the new season in a very powerful way adapting to the Autumn shoes.
We saw Alexa Chung, among others, giving the twist to the ballet shoes and making them the key piece of many Instagram and Pinterest outfits. 
As the classic ballerinas became boring, now the lace up shoes make their way in fashion either as flats or high heels.
This type of shoes give you a very feminine yet powerful look, something between the ballerina and the worrier so they can fit in many different outfits.

Beauty tip: off the semi-permanent

Hi people, I come here today to share a beauty tip that a friend teach me.
If you are the type of person who doesn't have a "normal schedule"or a lot of free time to spend in the beauty salons, this tip may help.
We all like to have always beautiful and tidy nails and in the world of the cosmetics there are several solutions to each of us. I've tried a bit of everything and since two years I opt for semi-permant gel products. The problem is that I don't always have time to return to the salon and remove the product or re-apply it.
This last time a friend of mine that did my nails, showed me how I can easily remove it without using the UV lamp and is very easy. Perhaps for many of you this is nothing new but for me was a big help and it can be the same to someone else!

So what you need is: cotton pads, nail polish remover, aluminum foil, plastic gloves, a towel and some manicure accessories.

Just cut the cotton pads into halves or even quarters and moisten well with nail polish remover.
Put each piece on top of the nail and cover with aluminum in order to hold and cover the nail (you can involve the entire fingertip).
Now put on the plastic gloves and wrapp your hands around a towel so that the heat produced during the process is not dissipated.
Now just wait for at least 10 minutes. During this time you will feel the heat that is being formed in your hands, is a sign that they were well insulated and the technique is working.
After the 10min try to remove one of the aluminum tips to see if the product is pealing off, if not, leave for a longer time.
When most of the product is getting off, remove the rest with the help of a metal file or any accessory that can scratch the  parts that get stuck.
Obviously the time and effectiveness of this technique may depend on the product but with me it worked! : D
Anyway nothing replaces a professional but it's always good to have an emergency plan! ;)

Se são do tipo de pessoas que nunca tem horários certos nem muito tempo para passarem em salões de beleza então esta dica pode ser útil. 
Todas gostamos de andar sempre com as unhas bonitas e arranjadas e por isso no mundo da estética existem várias soluções para cada uma de nós. Eu já experimentei um pouco de tudo e desde há dois anos que opto pelos produtos de gel semi-permante ou "gelinho" ,como lhe chamo eu. O problema é que nem sempre tenho tempo para voltar ao salão e retirar o produto ou voltar a aplicá-lo. 
Na última vez uma amiga minha, que me arranjou as unhas, mostrou-me como se pode facilmente remover o gelinho sem usar a lâmpada UV e é muito fácil. Talvez para muitas de vocês não seja novidade mas para mim facilitou-me a vida e quem sabe não poderá ser uma ajuda para mais alguém! 

Então o que precisam é de discos ou compressas de algodão, removedor de verniz, papel de alumínio, luvas de plástico, uma toalha e alguns utensilios de manicure.
Basta cortar os discos de algodão em metades ou mesmo quartos e umedecer bem com o removedor de verniz.
Coloquem cada pedaço por cima da unha e cubram com o alumínio de forma a segurar e tapar bem o algodão (podem envolver toda a ponta do dedo).
Vistam agora as luvas de plástico e enrolem uma toalha nas mãos para que o calor provocado durante o processo não se dissipe.
Agora é esperar pelo menos 10min. Durante este tempo vão sentir um calor que se vai formando nas mãos, é sinal que ficaram bem isoladas e a técnica está a fazer efeito.
Podem experimentar retirar um dos alumínio para ver se o produto está a descolar, se não, deixem por mais tempo. 
Quando grande parte do produto estiver então a descolar, retirem o resto com a ajuda de uma lima de metal ou qualquer acessório que consiga raspar os pedacinhos que restam.

Obviamente o tempo e a eficácia desta técnica podem depender do produto utilizado mas comigo resultou muito bem! :D
De qualquer forma nada substitui um profissional mas é sempre bom ter um plano de emergência! ;)

Btw the sales and the new season...

Hello hello! I've been away for a while from the blog, among weddings and visiting home there was not much time to come over. But I took the time left to check the new collections, review the fashion shows and make my list of the upcoming trends! Well to be honest I'm super excited with the new season! If you thought how cool was the 70' inspiration in the summer season, for the Autumn is just getting much better! Plus there are many other trends coming over to shake your wardrobe...but I will leave it for another post...
For now we have a mix of sales and new collection items that can work very well together to create the last outfits for the Summer! Olá, Olá!! Estive ausente do blog por uns tempos, por entre casamentos e visitas a casa não me sobrou muito tempo para passar por aqui. To the seaside, to Liguria! #1

Bom dia mundo! Bom dia Verão! Sabe bem dize-lo sabendo que me espera um dia lindo pela frente! E vocês como tem aproveitado esta vaga de calor? Com o tempo assim, mesmo em dias de trabalho, dá sempre para relaxar e aproveitar até ao por do sol! Mas se tem alguns dias livres melhor ainda!!

Hoje quero partilhar convosco a viagem que fiz até á região da Liguria aqui em Itália.

Fomos de carro até Rapallo uma pequena cidade costeira, que acaba por ser um ponto estratégico entre duas famosas atrações turísticas Portofino e Cinque Terre. Por isso mesmo foi o local escolhido para passar a noite. Depois de nos instalarmos num pequeno hotel junto ao mar, apanhamos o barco que fazia a travessia até Santa Margherita Liguria e Portofino. Podem também chegar lá de carro mas o acesso por barco é mais rápido e agradável.
Um pequeno porto com embarcações de madeira em contraste com modernos iates è o que nos espera ao chegar a Portofino. Encostas íngremes de vegetação vasta e verde encontram um mar azul e as casas pintadas de cores quentes finalizam esta pequena paisagem mediterranica.
Desembarcamos para explorar a zona, uma estreita escadaria e um conjunto de pequenas ruas levam-nos á igreja ou ao farol de onde se pode ter uma panorâmica do porto e do mar que o rodeia.
Em frente ao porto encontramos hotéis, restaurantes, lojas de lembranças e boutiques das melhores marcas que oferecem tudo aquilo que os turistas procuram sobretudo para os que chegam de iate.
Dá vontade de sentar numa das esplanadas mas como o dia já vai a meio decidimos regressar para aproveitar a pequena praia de Santa Margherita. Ao pôr-do-sol voltamos para Rapallo para desfrutar de um jantar em frente ao mar. O dia seguinte será dedicado a visitar as Cinque Terre, um conjunto de  vilas costeiras famosas pelas casas coloridas que se amontoam nas encostas verdes da região e que constituem hoje uma reserva natural. Mas isso fica para o próximo post!

Good morning World! Good morning Summer! Feels good to say it knowing that there is a beautiful day ahead! With this weather we can enjoy the sun even during the workdays and sunbath until the sunset! But if you have some free days even better!
Today I want to share with you the trip I made to the region of Liguria here in Italy.
We drove to Rapallo a small coastal town, which turns out to be a strategic point between two famous tourist attractions Portofino and Cinque Terre. So it was the place chosen to spend the night. After settling in a small hotel by the sea, we caught the boat that makes the crossing to Santa Margherita Liguria and Portofino. You can also arrive there by car but the access by boat is quicker and more enjoyable.
A small harbor with wooden boats in contrast to modern yachts is awaiting us in Portofino. Steep slopes and vast vegetation end in a blue sea and the houses painted in warm colors finalize this tiny mediterranean landscape.
We disembark to explore the area, a narrow staircase and a set of small streets lead us to the church or to the lighthouse from where you can have a panoramic view of the harbor and the sea that surrounds it.
Across the harbor we find hotels, restaurants, souvenir shops and boutiques of the best brands that offer everything what tourists are looking for, especially for those arriving by yacht.
The atmosphere makes you want to sit in on of the terraces but the day is passing by and we decide to return so we can enjoy the small beach of Santa Margherita. By the sunset we return to Rapallo to enjoy a dinner at the promenade.
The next day will be dedicated to visit the Cinque Terre, a set of coastal villages famous by their colorful houses that huddle on the green slopes of the region and constitute a natural reserve.
But that is for the next post!

Beach getaway!! Get ready!!

Com a chegada do verão chegam também as férias ou os fins de semana fora. Para quem não pode tirar longas férias, tem que aproveitar o solinho dos dias de folga para relaxar por isso convém ter um kit de viagem com dois ou 3 outfits para aproveitar da melhor forma estes dias!
Uma das peças da estação é o kimono que pode ser usado como casaco para completar o look como vestido de praia cruzando e prendendo com um cinto fininho, além disso como são geralmente de tecidos leves que não se amarrotam tornam-se numa peça chave para levar de viagem.
Os calções de ganga também não podem faltar, são a peça básica do verão para combinar de todas as formas, seja com um top descontraído para a praia ou uma blusa mais clássica.
E porque relax não é só estar na praia, convém pensar num modelito para ir jantar ou beber um copo. Um vestido leve e de cor forte é a melhor opção para deixar-se levar pelo espírito das férias.
Como calçado, umas alpercatas são a primeira opção super na moda para estar confortável durante a viagem, a estas junte umas sandálias rasas e outras de salto confortável como os de bloco ou compensados. E para completar o kit um saco de praia, uma bolsa mini divertida  alguns acessórios e umas tatuagens douradas para realçar o bronze!!

Nao sei se já repararam numa das peças tendência da estação. Depois das franjas e das rendas efeito crochê chegam agora as blusas e vestidos com folhos para se usar com os ombros á mostra. São a peça perfeita para deixar revelar a pele bronzeada dos primeiros dias de verão. Tem um ar bem feminino e romântico devido aos folhos e por isso devem ser combinadas com acessórios igualmente românticos e minimalistas. You can choose the short version in blouse with high-waste jeans or shorts, or the dress paired with in roman sandals for a more bohemian look or heels for a look more sophisticated. The important is always to use it with shoulders uncovered without layering any piece of clothing to get a cool and relaxed summer look. Como prometido venho-vos falar das minhas escolhas para este Verão no que toca a produtos solares. Todos os anos gosto de descobrir as últimas novidades e experimentar novos produtos, o mundo da cosmética está sempre a evoluir e para melhor por isso também a minha rotina de verão vai mudando.

Este ano um dos produtos que quase todas as marcas lançaram foi o óleo com factor de proteção alta. Diz-se que este è a era dos óleos por isso não podia vir mais a calhar! É um produto que já experimentei e gosto muito. Ideal para os primeiros dias de exposição ao sol e sempre que a exposição é feita durante as horas de maior calor ou em zonas onde o sol è mais forte. Por ser um óleo mantém a pele hidratada e bonita ao mesmo tempo que protege e potencía o bronzeado. Outra característica importante è que são á prova de água por isso mesmo para quem passa o tempo todo na água continua protegido sem ter que se "besuntar" com cremes brancos super espessos. Como tenho a pele branquinha o óleo nutritivo da marca La Roche-Possey 50+ foi uma das apostas e estou super satisfeita.

Quando já ganhei alguma cor e o corpo já produziu melanina suficiente para se proteger posso diminuir o factor de proteção e optar por bronzeadores mas sempre com alguma proteção porque apesar de a pele estar bronzeada não está protegia e pode estar ainda sujeita a problemas graves.
Nesta fase adoro os produtos da Piz Buin, ou o óleo bronzeador da Garnier, acho que ambos dão aquele bronze dourado super bonito e natural para além de terem um aroma muito agradável.

A nível de produtos faciais decidi experimentar a base compacta da Avène com proteção alta 50+ que se torna super pratica para levar para qualquer lado, sobretudo de férias. Já tinha usado um produto semelhante da Shiseido que è uma das bases de verão mais vendidas. È uma boa aposta para ter a mão todo o dia em qualquer situação. Dá uma boa cobertura sem criar um efeito máscara e protege a pele. Pode ser usada durante a exposição ao sol pois não escorre nem cria manchas com a transpiração. Vem com um espelho e uma esponja para aplicar facilmente.
Para quem prefere produtos mais fluidos e com menos cobertura pode optar pelos BB Creams que surgem agora com fps mais elevados, como o da L'Oreal.

Outro produto que tem vindo a ganhar espaço nas rotinas de beleza, não só no verão mas durante todos o ano, è a água termal em spray. Tenho usado este produto quase diariamente pois para além de dar hidratação a pele ao longo do dia ajuda a fixar a maquilhagem e resulta mesmo. È óptimo também para pulverizar antes de deitar depois da rotina de limpeza dando a sensação de frescura ou caso tenham um queimadura solar para aliviar o ardor. Como è um produto natural não contém álcool nem perfume e pode ser usado mesmo quando a pele está mais sensível.
Algumas marcas têm disponível também em formato pocket de 50ml que pode ser transportado na bolsa mesmo em viagem.

       

Em relação aos after-suns as opções são muitas, eu uso o Piz Buin Tan intensificar with Melanol que prolonga o bronzeado ou o leite apaziguador da L'Oreal que hidrata e refresca a pele. De qualquer forma independentemente da marca o importante mesmo è hidratar a pele sempre muito bem depois de exposta ao sol para evitar que descame. No caso de já terem queimaduras solares podem aplicar Aloé Vera natural, (este foi um truque da minha Mãe e como sabemos as Mães tem sempre razão). Basta cortar uma das folhas e abri-la ao meio para retirar a goma fazendo umas compressas ou massajar diretamente a goma na zona queimada. No entanto lembrem-se que as queimaduras solares graves devem ser sempre vistas por um especialista.

As promised I'm here to talk about my choices for this summer when it comes to solar products. Every year I like to find out the latest news and try new products, the world of cosmetics is constantly developing for better and therefore also my summer routine is changing.

This year one of the products that almost all the brands released was the oil with high protection factor. It is said that this is the era of the oil products so it couldn't come more on time! It's a product that I experienced and loved it. Ideal for the first days of sun exposure or when exposure is made during peak hours and in areas where the sun is stronger. As it is an oil it keeps the skin hydrated and beautiful at the same time as it's protecting and enhancing the tan. Another important feature is that they are water proof so even for those who spend the whole time in the water the skin keeps protected without having to be layered with white super thick creams. As my skin type is very light I use the nourishing oil from La Roche-Possey 50+, is a good choice and I'm super satisfied.

When I got some color and the body has produced enough melanin to protect itself, I can reduce the SPF and choose the tanning products, but always with some protection because although the skin is tanned is not protected and may still be subject to severe problems.
At this stage I love the Piz Buin products, or the tanning oil from Garnier, I think both give that super beautiful and natural golden bronze as well as they have a very pleasant scent.

About facial products I decided to try the compact foundation of Avène with high protection 50+ who becomes super practical to take anywhere, especially on vacation. I had used a similar product of Shiseido that is one of the best-selling summer bases. It is a good option to keep handy all day in any situation. It gives good coverage without creating a mask and protects the skin. It can be used during sun exposure because it does not drip or create spots with perspiration. It comes with a mirror and a sponge to easily apply.
For those who prefer more fluid products with less coverage you can opt for BB Creams that come now with higher fps, such as the one from L'Oreal.

Another product that has been gaining space in beauty routines, not only in summer but during all the year, is the thermal water spray. I have used this product daily because apart from giving the skin hydration throughout the day, helps to fix make-up and it really works. It is also great to spray before bedtime after cleaning routine giving the feeling of freshness or if you have a sunburn to relieve the burning. As a natural product does not contain alcohol or perfume, and can be used even when the skin is more sensitive.
Some brands are also available in pocket format 50ml which can be transported in the bag even when traveling.

Regarding the after-suns the options are many, I use Piz Buin Tan intensify with Melanol which prolongs the tan or the reliever milk from L'Oreal that moisturizes and refreshes the skin. Anyway dispit of the many brands the important is to always moisturize your skin thoroughly after exposure to the sun to prevent peeling off. If you already have sunburn you can apply natural Aloe Vera, (this was a trick of my Mother and as we know the Mothers are always right). Just cut a leaf and open it in half to remove the gum to do some compresses or directly massage the gum in the burned area. However remember that severe sunburns should always be seen by a specialist.

Sun Beauty! Safe Bronze!

Bom dia, depois de algum tempo ausente, por motivos não tão felizes, aqui estou de volta para partilhar convosco as últimas novidades e deixar a minha opinião sobre o que se tem passado pelo mundo da moda e beleza.
Quero por isso começar pelo tema do momento que è a exposição solar. Grande parte de nós já aproveitou o sol da primavera para se bronzear, alguns já ficaram com queimaduras solares e outros com um bronze invejável. Por isso nunca è demais relembrar os vários cuidados a ter e como obter resultados sem pôr em risco a sua saúde.
Cada vez mais as marcas de produtos solares fazem campanhas de sensibilizarão ao tema e nos sites podemos encontrar dicas e conselhos para evitar as queimaduras solares ou mesmo o cancro da pele.
Sabemos bem que não é um exagero falar em cancro da pele, existem cada vez mais casos e a radiação solar ao logo dos anos tornou-se mais perigosa devido a deteorização da camada de ozono que bloqueia parte dos raios UV.

Vamos então desmistificar alguns conceitos para que possamos estar sempre protegidos e adquirir aquele bronze invejável e saudável!

Mito 1: Se estou á sombra não queimo. Mentira!
O guarda-sol protege-nos de cerca de 50% dos raios UV o que já é bom mas os restantes penetram provocando queimaduras caso não tenha aplicado um protector solar.
O mesmo acontece com céu nublado onde 80% dos raios UV atingem a superfície.

Mito 2: Dentro de água não queimo. Mentira!
Sabiam que os raios UV a meio metro de profundidade são 40% tão intensos como na superfície. É por isso importante usar um protector solar resistente á água. Um produto resistente à água significa que o seu índice de proteção funciona mesmo dentro de água, no entanto deve ser reaplicado depois do banho para reforçar a sua proteção.

Mito 3: primeiro tenho que queimar para a pele bronzear. Mentira!
Para além de pôr a sua pele em risco via fazer com que esta descame e fique irritada. A cor obtida após este processo vai desaparecer facilmente. Deve optar por um bronze gradual que irá durar muito mais tempo.

Dica 1: aplique os produtos solares antes de vestir o fato de banho com atenção as zonas escondidas do corpo. Assim vai evitar as queimaduras junto às linhas do mesmo. Reaplique durante o dia e depois dos banhos.

Dica 2: leve para a praia alimentos que favorecem a produção de melanina, a cenoura é uma ótima opção para ir trincando debaixo do sol.

Dica 3: proteja a cara e as mãos durante todo o ano com um índice elevado. Como são zonas do corpo constantemente expostas ao sol deste modo irá prevenir o envelhecimento precoce da pele.

Dica 4: mantenha a hidratação da pele ingerindo muita água e aplicando diariamente um creme hidratante ou after-sun que vai ajudar a prolongar o bronzeado. Durante o dia tenha a mão um spray de água termal que ajudar a refrescar e hidratar a pele.

Dica 5: para recuperar de queimaduras solares ligeiras tenha uma planta de Aloe Vera em casa e massage a goma que está dentro das folhas. Pode depois aplicar depois o seu after-sun e pulverizar com uma água termal para refrescar.

Good morning, after some time away, for not so happy reasons, here I am again to share with you the latest news and give my opinion on what has happened at the fashion and beauty world.

I will begin then by the topic of the season the sun exposure. Most of us have already enjoyed the spring sunshine for sunbathing, some of us got sunburned and others an enviable tan. So it's never to much to remember the precautions to take and how to get results without jeopardizing our health.
More and more brands of solar products make campaigns about the topic and on the websites we can find tips and advices to avoid sunburn and even skin cancer.
We know that is not an exaggeration to speak in skin cancer, there are more and more cases and solar radiation through the years has become more dangerous due to the weak ozone layer that blocks part of the UV rays.

Let's demystify some concepts so that we can always be protected and get that enviable and healthy bronze!
Myth 1: If I'm in the shade I don't burn. Lie!
The umbrella protects us from about 50% of UV rays which is already good but the remaining penetrate causing burns if you have not applied a sunscreen.
The same happens with cloudy sky where 80% of UV rays reach the surface.
Myth 2: Inside the water I don't burn. Lie!
Do you knew that the UV rays at half a meter deep are 40% as intense as at the surface. It is therefore important to use a sunscreen resistant to water. A water-resistant product means that its protection works even in the water, however it should be reapplied after bathing to enhance their protection.
Myth 3: first I have to burn for the skin get tan. Lie!
In addition to putting your skin at risk it will peel off and get irritated. The color obtained after this process will easily disappear. You should opt for a gradual bronze that will last much longer.
Tip 1: Apply the sunscreen products before donning the swimsuit be careful with hidden areas of the body. this will prevent burns along the lines of it. Reapply during the day and after bathing.
Tip 2: take to the beach food that favor the production of melanin, the carrots are a great option to bit under the sun.
Tip 3: protect the face and hands throughout the year with a high spf product. As those are the body areas exposed to the sun constantly so will prevent early aging of the skin.
Tip 4: Keep skin hydration by drinking plenty of water and applying a daily moisturizer or after-sun that will help prolong your tan. During the day keep to hand a thermal water spray that help refresh and moisturize the skin.
Tip 5: to recover from slight sunburns have an Aloe Vera plant at home and massage the gum which is inside the leaves. You can then apply your after-sun and spray with thermal water to refresh.
