Hoje quero partilhar convosco a viagem que fiz até á região da Liguria aqui em Itália.
Fomos de carro até Rapallo uma pequena cidade costeira, que acaba por ser um ponto estratégico entre duas famosas atrações turísticas Portofino e Cinque Terre. Por isso mesmo foi o local escolhido para passar a noite. Depois de nos instalarmos num pequeno hotel junto ao mar, apanhamos o barco que fazia a travessia até Santa Margherita Liguria e Portofino. Podem também chegar lá de carro mas o acesso por barco é mais rápido e agradável.
Um pequeno porto com embarcações de madeira em contraste com modernos iates è o que nos espera ao chegar a Portofino. Encostas íngremes de vegetação vasta e verde encontram um mar azul e as casas pintadas de cores quentes finalizam esta pequena paisagem mediterranica.
Desembarcamos para explorar a zona, uma estreita escadaria e um conjunto de pequenas ruas levam-nos á igreja ou ao farol de onde se pode ter uma panorâmica do porto e do mar que o rodeia.
Em frente ao porto encontramos hotéis, restaurantes, lojas de lembranças e boutiques das melhores marcas que oferecem tudo aquilo que os turistas procuram sobretudo para os que chegam de iate.
Dá vontade de sentar numa das esplanadas mas como o dia já vai a meio decidimos regressar para aproveitar a pequena praia de Santa Margherita. Ao pôr-do-sol voltamos para Rapallo para desfrutar de um jantar em frente ao mar. O dia seguinte será dedicado a visitar as Cinque Terre, um conjunto de vilas costeiras famosas pelas casas coloridas que se amontoam nas encostas verdes da região e que constituem hoje uma reserva natural. Mas isso fica para o próximo post!

Good morning World! Good morning Summer! Feels good to say it knowing that there is a beautiful day ahead! With this weather we can enjoy the sun even during the workdays and sunbath until the sunset! But if you have some free days even better!
Today I want to share with you the trip I made to the region of Liguria here in Italy.
We drove to Rapallo a small coastal town, which turns out to be a strategic point between two famous tourist attractions Portofino and Cinque Terre. So it was the place chosen to spend the night. After settling in a small hotel by the sea, we caught the boat that makes the crossing to Santa Margherita Liguria and Portofino. You can also arrive there by car but the access by boat is quicker and more enjoyable.
A small harbor with wooden boats in contrast to modern yachts is awaiting us in Portofino. Steep slopes and vast vegetation end in a blue sea and the houses painted in warm colors finalize this tiny mediterranean landscape.
We disembark to explore the area, a narrow staircase and a set of small streets lead us to the church or to the lighthouse from where you can have a panoramic view of the harbor and the sea that surrounds it.
Across the harbor we find hotels, restaurants, souvenir shops and boutiques of the best brands that offer everything what tourists are looking for, especially for those arriving by yacht.
The atmosphere makes you want to sit in on of the terraces but the day is passing by and we decide to return so we can enjoy the small beach of Santa Margherita. By the sunset we return to Rapallo to enjoy a dinner at the promenade.
The next day will be dedicated to visit the Cinque Terre, a set of coastal villages famous by their colorful houses that huddle on the green slopes of the region and constitute a natural reserve.
